About 426 hectares of land have been identified and earmarked for the unity scale solar project in Lafia the Nasarawa state capital by Niger Delta power Holding Company Limited.
The state government through the ministry of Lands and urban development will soon commence the due process of acquiring the land for the project, the project will no doubt complement the 330 transmission station in Akurba Lafia.
Based on this development a team from Niger Delta power Holding Company Limited were at the Ministry of Lands and urban development to find tune ways on how the land can be acquired.
The commissioner Mohammed Nuhu Sarki and the management staff of the ministry informed the team that the process of land acquisitions will be properly follow to avoid litigation.
The project will improve electricity supply in the state.
